Time

It's been more than 6 months now since my Mum passed

It's an incredibly hard thing to process as I know many people already know

How can life just go on?

Time, it never stops.

Not for anything, nor anyone. 

It's hard to take advice of others.

'take life and live it'

'you're here for a good time, not for a long time'

'make the most of the time you have here'

'your Mum would want you to be happy'

I know, and I should, but it takes exactly the thing that 

I want to avoid, to be able to do that 

TIME!!!

I will get there, I just still feel very much in the grasp of grief.

I try daily to make an effort to be happy on the outside, 

but inside, that's a different story.

I can't imagine living whats left of my life in this grief.

I hope that I can learn to deal with the anxiety and 

feelings of utter sadness and wanting my Mum back with me.

Whatever you feel during grief, is completely normal. Everyone

tells me that, so i just go with how I feel. Yes, i have been distracting myself from these emotions at times, but then, maybe that's normal too. To not want to have this horrid feeling in your gut. This emptiness, even tho you have family and friends around you. It's a hard thing to explain, but you feel incredibly lonely most of the time. Probably because individually, you are all experiencing a completely different grief, even though it's the same loss. We all cope the way we can, and do things we feel will help, and that's different for everyone. Understanding others words and actions, goes a long way to understanding your own grieving experience. 

I watch others now, coping with loss, something I never thought too deeply about before, and slowly I am beginning to understand the actual effects such an experience has on a person. It's awful, and not something I would wish on anyone, but sadly, we will all one day, be dealing with a loss that rips at our hearts. I hope that with every day, my understanding will grow, and my feelings will turn from despair, to acceptance, being able to look at photos and smile.

 She was a wonderful human being, and we miss her terribly, 

but we have to learn to live this life without her in it. 

Lost

It's been 8 weeks since my mum died very suddenly, and I am completely lost, and completely heartbroken. Frozen inside a bubble :'( 

I can't promise that I'll get back into creating, but I will try to slowly get back to it. I just have no heart for it at the moment.

I wish my mum was still here with me, I really need one of her hugs right now

Hi guys, noticed a small booboo with WSL_Mask364

If you have downloaded this mask, please can you delete it, and replace it with this new version.

I didnt notice the black edge was showing a sharp white are, I have used a grungy brush to fix it :D

So

I've been working on this kit for a few weeks

I've seen plenty pregnancy kits, or baby kits, but havent yet come across a TTC kit.

No, I'm not TTC lol, but I do use FAM and chart, and this gave me the idea for the kit :D

I hope this is something that someone may get the use of, if you happen to download it, i hope you enjoy :D

Mask Tutorial

Ok so lately a few people have mailed and asek me about my mask tutorial.....I made it last year, but when I moved webhosts.....My mask tutorial didnt get added cos there werent that many hits on it lol. Anyway, Ive decided to stick it on my blog here, that way, if anyone wants it, it's here.




A few people have asked me to write a mask tutorial, so I thought I'd share with you how I make mine. It's very basic, you dont need alot of PSP knowledge to use this tutorial.





Lets begin!


1. Open a new canvas 600x600 and fill black.


2. Grab your preset shape tool set to circle, inner, white, outer, null. Draw out a large circle,
objects, align, center in canvas. Convert to raster.


3. Grab your smudge tool, settings as follows.







4. I used a flower brush, but you can use any kind of brush for this part.


5. Go to the edge of your circle anywhere on your canvas, start pushing the cirlce in towards
itself.





6. Continue to do this all the way around so you have a ragged edge. I also smudge the white
outward, but it depends on the size of your circle. You dont want any of the white to
touch the edge of your canvas, or else you'll notice a line around your tag when you use the
mask. Like below.







7. You should now have a canvas that looks smilar to this







8. Once happy with your new mask...save it as a jpeg, remember to give it a name too so that
people know it belongs to you, you never know,
you may start making tons of masks and sharing them :P


There are tons of different things you can use to make masks, I use brushes, ding fonts, preset shapes, lots of different filters etc,
so play around with it once you start, there is so much you can do with the effects of PSP ;)

grrrr I havent had much pc time at all lately.....not good!
During the day, I get time to come on the pc, but not actually make anything, and in the ervening, by the time kiddies are asleep, I really am not in the mood to make anything *sob*
Anyway, I made some masks just now while waiting to get kids up for school, so hope they're ok for someone at least lol.
